Instructions for Participants

We encourage everyone to take advantage of the alternative transportation modes available in the community.

• The Memorial Union Quad is just a short 15 minute walk from downtown Corvallis
• By bicycle, the Memorial Union Quad is as little as 5 minutes away from downtown Corvallis. The MU Quad and surrounding areas offer ample bicycle parking including several covered parking stations.
• Corvallis Transit System runs as part of regular routes, buses to and from campus. The covered stops are within a stone's throw of the Memorial Union building and offer a reasonable fare (Free for Students, Staff and Faculty) !

Load/Unload permits are available at the Information Booth on Jefferson Street across from the McNary Residence Hall.

These permits are only for loading and unloading materials and will not protect a vehicle from being ticketed if parked in a loading zone.

Important: Use Load/Unload permits in Reserved Service Parking identified on the campus map. Click HERE to view the map.

Vehicles should be moved to alternative parking locations after delivering materials.

Short-term pay parking is available in the pay lot adjacent to the OSU Bookstore. This lot is metered with a limited number of 2-hour spaces.

A limited number of parking passes are available for presenters. Contact the organizers ahead of time for information on how to obtain one.

Two 20' x 60' canopies will be setup in the center of the Memorial Union Quad. Tables and chairs will be set up in the Quad by 10:00 AM on Tuesday morning.
