Here at Oregon State University, our Focus the Nation team is planning an exciting day of campus-wide discussion that involves workshops, speakers, and a community fair and will conclude with a speech by the Mayor of Corvallis. We are having our event on the 30th to allow students to also attend the Portland event on the 31st. Our event will take place on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, 2–8 p.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom.

The largest Focus the Nation event in our region will take place at the Chiles Center on the University of Portland campus. The SSI is organizing a free bus ride for students and community members who want to attend the event. The bus will leave OSU at 3pm and return at 10:30pm on Thursday, Jan. 31st. Event Description
