Are you an OSU student living in a residence hall? Are you interested in getting involved in sustainability at OSU and working with a cohort of peers to develop great leadership skills? Then look no further than the OSU Eco-Representative program!

The Eco-Reps program began at Oregon State in fall 2012, helping move the OSU campus and student experience forward with sustainability content and programming. Starting with three positions in 2012-2013 and now seven positions for 2017-2018, the program today reaches more residents than ever before!

Eco-Reps are responsible for encouraging a culture of sustainability in the residence halls in which they live. They educate residents about sustainable lifestyles and resources, assist with marketing and outreach, and plan and execute sustainability-focused events.  They also maintain their hall's composting program. Last year, the Eco-Reps reached people an amazing 9,785 times and composted over 1,741 lbs. of material!

Check the Eco-Rep Instagram for the most up to date activities.

For program details and assessment results, please see the Annual Summaries for FY17, FY16 and FY15.

Recruitment for 2017-2018 positions is now closed, but please see the position description for detailed job duties.
