About Working With Us
If you’re looking for a job, why not pick one that contributes to positive change right here on campus? Employees play an important role in the overall university mission to reuse, recycle and/or dispose of a wide variety of materials no longer needed or used by departments and colleges, supporting efforts to increase sustainability at OSU.
Current and past employees have shared the following about this work experience:
Members of our team can gain valuable skills and experience in customer service, teamwork, IT, online sales, leadership, retail operations, methods for materials recycling, reuse, and waste reduction, and more. We have a developed training program to ensure all employees have the necessary tools, resources and knowledge to perform at their best. Class schedules and school workload are considered when developing weekly work schedules.
Our department of Materials Management is working toward strategic priorities to advance diversity, inclusion, and equity in our work (learn about those initiatives here). We invite applicants who hold underrepresented identities and those who contribute to an inclusive work environment to apply.
Follow links above under Current Openings (if applicable) to apply.
