Grads Give Back
OSU's Gown Share Program
Reservations Will Begin Week 10 of Winter Term
Since 2018, Grads Give Back Gown Share has been a way for students to donate their single-use regalia to a future Beav! When students donate their gowns, caps, cords, and tassels, they are inventoried by staff and volunteers. The following year, it is distributed to students for free after they reserve their items through our reservation form. Students are encouraged to return their regalia to keep the inventory growing!
Grads Give Back is the result of collaboration among volunteers in the W.A.S.T.E. Sustainability Club, Campus Recycling, Memorial Union (M.U.) and Valley Library.
How To Give:
Gowns can be donated on Commencement Day outside of Reser Stadium, at the Valley Library, or year-round at the MU.
- Outside of Reser Stadium: Directly following the commencement ceremony on June 13, 2026
- Valley Library (Quad Entrance): June 13-18, 2026
- M.U. Info Desk: Year-round during open hours:
- Commencement day, 7 am - 6 pm
- Sunday closed
- Summer hours
- By mail: Accepted year-round by mailing them to: Charlie Beckers, 2501 SW Jefferson Way, MU 112, Corvallis, OR 97331
We are able to accept gowns if they are in good condition (not ripped but detaching zippers okay, damp, or color-damaged), solid black, and Jostens brand. We can accept gowns whose zipper has detached slightly, as we have volunteers who will mend it.
