Grads Give Back
OSU's Gown Share Program
Reservations Will Begin Week 8 of Winter Term
Grads Give Back is a student-started gown share program seeking to reduce barriers that under-resourced students might experience as they near graduation. In addition, the program breathes new life into what are traditionally single-use garments by allowing graduates to donate their gown for someone to use next year.
Grads Give Back is the result of collaboration among staff of the Campus Recycling, Memorial Union (M.U.) and Valley Library.
How To Give:
Gowns can be donated on Commencement Day outside of Reser Stadium, at the Valley Library, or year-round at the MU.
- Outside of Reser Stadium: Directly following the commencement ceremony on June 13, 2026
- Valley Library (Quad Entrance): June 13-18, 2026
- M.U. Info Desk: Year-round during open hours:
- Commencement day, 7 am - 6 pm
- Sunday closed
- Summer hours
- By mail: Accepted year-round by mailing them to: Charlie Beckers, 2501 SW Jefferson Way, MU 112, Corvallis, OR 97331
We are able to accept gowns if they are in good condition (not ripped but detaching zippers okay, damp, or color-damaged), solid black, and Jostens brand. We can accept gowns whose zipper has detached slightly, as we have volunteers who will mend it.
How to Receive a Gown:
A reservation form will be launched in Week 8 of Winter Term. If you have a winter graduation date or a need for a gown for photos prior to Week 2 of Spring Term, please email [email protected]
