Off-Campus Donation Drive How-To's

How to Donate:

Oregon State University invites students to bring items they will no longer want or need to a drop-off event at the end of the school year! Donated items will go to local nonprofits for reuse.

The 2026 donation drive will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday, June 13-15 at the Benton County Fairgrounds' Guerber Building  (110 SW 53rd St.).

Want to donate but cannot make it? Check out the Corvallis-Area Reuse Directory for a list of places that accept goods.

What is Accepted for Donation

Items must be cleandry and in working condition.

  • furniture and mattresses
  • clothing and shoes
  • linens
  • food (sealed and non-perishable)
  • electronics*
  • books and school supplies
  • other household items (kitchenware, décor, appliances, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc.)
  • bicycles**

**Leaving your bike behind? From June 8-12, you can drop it off at Cascade Hall inside with Public Safety Staff using the second floor phone. In past years, the ALI Bike Shop refurbished abandoned bikes for resale, the goal being to offer students affordable, ready-to-ride bikes at the beginning of next school year. Learn more about the Fall Bike Sale.

*Electronics Reminder: Electronics should be donated to Great Move-Out and should NOT be placed in the trash! Trashing e-waste is illegal!
